The Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) is a national and bilingual organization dedicated to the enhancement of the counselling and psychotherapy profession in Canada. Founded in 1965, it brings together professionally trained counsellors and psychotherapists working in education, mental health, community services, business and private practice, and promotes accessible, competent and accountable counselling and psychotherapy services throughout the lifespan. CCPA also grants the Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and Canadian Certified Supervisor (CCS) designations.
